Angie McCormick

Angie's passion for health and wellness began during her collegiate career as a basketball player at Stetson University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 1999. She then pursued her Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Iowa in 2003.

Since 2003, Angie has been a respected physical therapist in the Cedar Rapids area, gaining extensive experience with a wide range of patients in outpatient and skilled therapy environments. Committed to continuous learning, she has advanced her skills in manual therapy through the Institute of Physical Art , earned a Nutrition Consultant certification from Hawthorn University, and completed Pilates training through Balanced Body.

Angie’s work is deeply informed by her own experience with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA). She leverages her professional knowledge and personal understanding to create a holistic approach for clients, integrating physical therapy techniques with nutritional and lifestyle changes. Her goal is to empower clients to move beyond their limitations and reach new levels of physical health.

When she's not helping clients, Angie maintains an active lifestyle by running, swimming, and biking. She has successfully completed several half-marathons, marathons, and triathlons, including an Ironman triathlon. Angie lives on a farm with her husband and 3 children, where they enjoy spending time outdoors.
